Week eight is Francoise De Felice taught by Kate Thompson.
Francoise De Felice is a master that's still alive and still actively paitning and showing her work in galleries. This makes it very hard to find in depth information about her life as well as her techniques.
She studied French Impressionism on the last 1970's- early 1980s but moved on to created her own style out of creating nearly melted mediums.
Another technique common in her paintings is veiling. Veiling is where you paint a layer and then partially cover it up with semi-transport layer so it seen yet still covered.
Her paintings are really intriguing and any attempt to copy as a means of learning hasn't ended well. She's really perfected something unique.
