On the Waterfront

Sprinkle on Glitter Blog// On the Waterfront

The hourglass figure of the 1940s continued into the 1950s with a large emphasis on the waistline. In the 1950s people were beginning to become comfortable on their own style not feeling like they needed to conform to societies standards. Because of that many took inspiration for the 1920s and dressed in a looser form referred to as a "sack dress."
