Gone With the Wind

Sprinkle on Glitter Blog//Gone With the Wind

The  fun ways of the 1920s turned into more conservative and sophisticated styles in the 1930s. Factory made clothing was becoming popular. They were made out of less expensive materials that were considered "rough" fabrics. Yet, the dresses had a very femine, form fitting silhouette. Women were expected to even wear dresses at home. The Great Depression was no excuse for frumpiness!
